SALLY HARRISON is the founder of Band-ITS & Strength4Dance, a business dedicated to injury prevention and creating a strong body for a lifetime of dance. She is a state registered physiotherapist and fitness trainer with over 25 years of experience in the health and fitness industries. As a former professional dancer that retired due to injury, she is passionate about helping the next generation of performers understand and look after their ‘tool of the trade’.

She has created 2 dance specific training programmes for the studio setting, providing scientific and effective strength training for all genres of dance.

In 2021 she released her first book, which guides the dancer on how to understand, manage and improve their body; from breathing and recovery, through to high level strength and movement training.  She also presents regularly at full time dance schools and many national and international conferences for both the dance and health and fitness communities.

She continues to practice as a physio and fitness trainer in Sydney, helping dancers and the general public reduce pain and improve movement.
